The children are enjoying and benefiting from this wonderful new facility.

The Woodland Group of Pre-Schools held a sponsored walk for the Sunbeam Children’s Foundation on November 29th 2003.The children walked around the racetrack of The Hong Kong Jockey Club in Happy Valley; activities were arranged for them along the route.

A fund raising Cocktail Event at The China Club. The evening included cocktails & canapés, live music from The Sunbeam Sound and the sale of antique birdcages donated by Mr. Philippe Chan. There was an auction & a lucky draw. Our Master of ceremonies was Mr. Nury Vittachi.

A dinner & dance held at Government House. The evening included a pre-dinner champagne reception with background music provided by piano duets accompanied by a flute. A ballroom dancing demonstration was given followed by a band 'The Sunbeam Sound' playing big band music. The band was formed especially for this event.

An exhibition of black & white photographs taken by Hong Kong Island School students and staff was held at The Ladies Recreation Club.

Held at the Jewish Community Centre. The catering was by a Cuban Restaurant. A salsa demonstration was given, followed by guests testing their salsa skills. Lucky draws were held. Master of ceremonies was Mr. Nury Vittachi.

In August seven children from The Sunbeam Children's Village visited Hong Kong as a reward. They were award winners in several categories e.g. improving their academic performance, good academic achievement, contribution to The Sunbeam Children’s Village and the local community, good behavior etc.
