No, I’m not a monk… More of an International Man of Mystery. What else can I say about me?

Many passions, but very often short in time.
Running: I’ve been running for about 4 years now, and trail running / adventure racing for less than 2 years. I got into that simply because Hong Kong is full of trails and I think 80% of the city is made of country parks. When I don’t feel like shopping, there’s nothing like being outdoors.
Martial Arts: tried a bit of all without really going far with it. The latest is Capoeira. Awesome. Planning to do more than just trying with this last one!
Other sports: basket ball, basket ball and basket ball.
Music: same comment as the above. Violin, bass, drums, guitar…
Travels: I’ve lived in Tunisia, England, Belgium, France and Hong Kong. Still so much of the world to see and not enough time in a life!!!! But I’m happy with doing short trips and reading guidebooks nowadays. Hopefully, I’ll get some time off and can travel around for maybe a year or so. More like a dream.

Well, if I think of anything else, I’ll sure post it…

  1. When I found out you were doing this, I immediately went online to read about the race and what it involved and I can say that I am just overwhelmed and am in total awe and admiration that you’re doing this “march”. It’ll be an experience of a lifetime and I can feel (despite me not even doing it) the great sense of achievement you’ll get out of completing this. I guess its because I just did my first action race, been on tough hikes, and just can just imagine and envision the sheer toughness of this experience. The terrain, the weather, the mental endurance, the aches and pains and the smiles…..

    You’ve really trained so hard for this. Look how fit you now are!!!

    I’ll be keeping tabs on the race online for sure.

    Good luck and I’ll be waiting here in HK for you to tell the tale of an experience of a lifetime….

    smile =)
