3 weeks ago I injured myself and since I’ve had swollen knees. I’ve seen an acupuncture and he said I had water accumulation under the knee cap (water on the knee). He stuck tons of needles in me and told me to rest it, sadly, being the Joc I am, I had the China Coast half marathon race on the Sunday (20 January 2008).
I raced hard and my leg problem worsened. My running buddies told me that my running gait was wrong and I needed to change, which I listened and it gotten a little better, but sadly the knee was still swollen and my calf muscles have been stiff since. After reading how serious a knee injury could develop into, I am going to see a physiotherapist tonight! I will update you all soon what he has to say!
